Clerical Support Scheduling Specialist-CH Therapy
Job Summary
The Clerical Support/Scheduling Specialist for Children’s Therapy must be able to exercise superior communication skills and filter a vast amount of information accurately with the ability to interface effectively with patients, therapists and other levels within the organization. Has a working knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes. This person needs to have the ability to coordinate with families and therapists to schedule evaluations and recurring treatments. They also need the ability to monitor cancelations and work to proactively fill schedules in order to optimize therapists productivity. Daily coordination of calls inbound and outbound calls for the department. Handles multiple staff requests, by directing the request to the most appropriate person in a timely manner to respond.
Position Requirement(s)
- Licenses/Certifications/Registrations Required: None
- Prior Experience: Clerical experience and/or hospital experience. Must be able to work with people. Always poised, courteous, pleasing personality, good telephone voice and able to meet the public.
- Preferred: Prior experience with EPIC a plus. Must be able to successfully complete EPIC training based on established guidelines.
