About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Clinical Support Specialist to join our sales team. The candidate will provide clinical and technical support to DIXI medical’s Stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) customers. Daily duties include providing clinical/technical support and in-service training for current and new DIXI medical customers via email, phone, and/or on-site. This position will also provide backup to other DIXI medical employees as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ability to provide and assure the carrying out of the established clinical/technical support procedures for using DIXI medical products
  • Provide clinical/technical support, in-servicing, education, and demonstration in the use of DIXI medical products to appropriate customer departments as well as training new staff at DIXI medical
  • Provide clinical/technical support during patient cases, as needed, to hospitals using DIXI medical products in the OR and/or EMU
  • Create work flow and quick guides for use of DIXI medical products
  • Attend local and national trade shows and conferences as requested
  • Obtain necessary hospital vendor credentialing – i.e. GHX/Vendormate, Secure/Reptrax, Symplr within 45 days of job acceptance
  • Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Communicate professionally and effectively (both verbal and written) with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by educating healthcare professionals, following up on product use, monitoring competitor activity, and maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and Intraoperative Monitoring environment
  • Neurosurgical/Neurology sales and/or support experience in the Medical Device/Equipment/Hospital environment desired
  • Comfortable observing medical procedures in the operating room
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; emphasizing interactions with the medical community. Ability to present and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees within DIXI medical
  • Demonstration of excellent clinical/technical skills gained in a life or material science environment or similar scientific sales role. Capability to develop expertise in product application and practice management implications
  • High level of technical/clinical product knowledge and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Safely operate a motor vehicle. Maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and appropriate vehicle insurance coverage
  • Moderate Travel required up to 75% via air or car travel
  • Able to respond to common inquiries and resolve any customer conflicts
