Position Summary
Acts as receptionist for all incoming clients into the practice with utmost customer care. Collects fees at time of service to include outstanding balances. Assist with answering calls ensuring the proper documentation of information is gathered and passed on to the providers. This position may be responsible for entering and processing any out office charges into EMR, processing incoming and outgoing referrals, and processing prior authorizations.

Education
- Associates Degree - Preferred
Experience
- One Year Office Practice Setting - Preferred
- One Year Customer Service Setting - Required

- Performs eligibility.
- Accurately inputs patient demographic and insurance information.
- Schedules appointments accordingly.
- Answers phones.
- Processes incoming and outgoing documents.
- Collections payments.
- Affixes to bank deposits and daily front end closing.
- Enters out of office charges, if applicable.
- Maintains office supplies.
- Performs pre-certification tasks when needed prior to services being rendered.
- Accurately updates and documents the referral in eClinical Works to include closing referral.
