About the role
Accounting professionals play a crucial role in ensuring that healthcare finances are managed effectively. This position involves supporting various aspects of financial operations within healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Perform bookkeeping duties
- Process payroll and manage employee records
- Enter and maintain accurate financial data using Excel
- Understand and apply basic mathematical computations
- Gain knowledge of insurance procedures, including Medicare, Medicaid, and healthcare/billing systems as applicable
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- A degree in business or accounting is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Excel, payroll software, and data entry
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Knowledge of insurance procedures, including Medicare, Medicaid, and healthcare/billing systems, may be necessary depending on the position
Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting
- Basic understanding of healthcare billing and insurance procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule
Shifts are typically 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, with some positions requiring evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a) and nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a). Every other weekend is usually required for all positions.
