What Success Looks Like In This Role

• Perform environment discovery, analyze configurations, and support transition and documentation activities.
• Design database solutions across RDMS and DMS models aligned to infrastructure, storage, and DR requirements.
• Install, configure, and upgrade database components, ensuring security, performance, and proper access control.
• Perform monitoring, tuning, backup/recovery, and SLA-driven operational support.
• Optimize SQL (RDMS) and access paths (DMS), monitor utilization, and support capacity planning.
• Execute upgrades, schema changes, and reorganizations under ITIL change control.
• Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Utilize monitoring, scheduling, and automation tools.
• Maintain and test recovery procedures and ensure RTO/RPO alignment.
• Manage multiple customer environments and prioritize based on SLA and business criticality.
• Participate in 24x7 rotation and respond to critical incidents.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and support knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in ClearPath OS2200 environments
• Experience with RDMS (SQL) and DMS database models
• Database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and administration
• ITIL / ServiceNow experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate in multi-client managed services environments
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
