Cleaning and Restoration Technician
We are a new restoration company in Rochester backed by the national brand of Voda Cleaning & Restoration, looking for motivated, hardworking technicians. This is an opportunity to join at the ground level and grow with the company as we scale. You’ll work directly with ownership, gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the restoration and cleaning industry, and have the opportunity to advance quickly into specialized restoration roles.
About the role
This is a hands-on field position where you’ll be actively working on job sites daily, helping customers through water, mold, fire/smoke, and specialty cleaning situations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with water, mold, fire/smoke, and specialty cleaning jobs
- Perform carpet, floor, upholstery, and tile cleaning services
- Set up and monitor drying equipment
- Handle demolition and cleanup tasks as needed
- Take job site photos and complete documentation
- Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Help maintain warehouse organization and inventory
- Follow company safety and operational standards
- Assist with carpet cleaning, tile & grout cleaning, contents work, warehouse organization, equipment setup, vehicle organization, and other operational needs as the company grows
Requirements

- Comfortable working in customer-facing environments
- Basic comfort with technology, mobile apps, and documentation
- Ability to lift equipment and work in varying job site conditions
- Valid NYS driver’s license required
- Background check
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of cleaning, restoration, construction, flooring, demolition, moving, maintenance, or other hands-on labor experience
- IICRC Certifications (CCT, WRT, etc.)
- Experience with carpet cleaning, floor cleaning, tile & grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning, air duct cleaning, or restoration work
Schedule
This is a full-time, guaranteed 40-hour-per-week position. As a startup operation, flexibility and a team-first mentality are extremely important during the early growth phase.
