About the Role
Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.
Responsibilities
- Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn Mold Mitigation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration certifications and experience quickly).
- Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
- Inspect completed work.
- Complete the technician’s daily log.
- Complete Work Orders.
- Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
- Maintain inventory of related supplies.
- Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
- Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma (or GED).
- Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
- Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
- 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.).
Skills
- Certificates from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) highly desired.
- Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) preferred but not required.

Pay
Competitive salary. Compensation levels reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos certifications. Commissions are possible on top of hourly rate.
