Cleaner (Part-Time, PM Shift)

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
• Clean and disinfect equipment
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
• Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
• Mix various cleaning agents
• Remove garbage and recycling
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
• Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Prior experience helpful
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
• The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move items over 30 pounds
