Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained
• Provide training and create work schedules
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in a fine dining, private club, luxury hotel, or upscale hospitality setting is preferred
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to: the use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer; the use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables; the use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques

Pay

$26.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour.
