About the role
Job Category: Buildings and Grounds. Job Location: Initial Location at IRIS.
Responsibilities
- Sweeps, vacuums, mops and washes floors and stairs
- Uses heavy mechanical equipment in stripping, waxing and polishing floors
- Dusts chairs, tables, desks and other furniture
- Polishes furniture and brass
- Empties wastebaskets, collects and disposes of trash
- Arranges chairs and tables and other equipment for special use of building
- Moves furniture, supplies and other equipment
- Cleans windows, walls, bath fixtures, equipment, beds and furniture
- May load and unload trucks
- May operate clothes washer and dryer in laundering of linens, clothing, etc.
- Performs custodial tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pay
Hourly rate: $20.79 plus shift differential of $0.75 per hour.
Schedule
Hours per day: 8; Months per year: 12; Shift: 2nd shift.
