Cleaner - 2nd Shift (Districtwide with primary location EMP) Anticipated

About the role

This Buildings and Grounds position is located at EMP and works the 2nd shift. The anticipated start date is October 13, 2026, with applications due by September 24, 2026.

Pay

Hourly rate of $20.79 plus a shift differential of $0.75 per hour.

Schedule

8 hours per day, 12 months per year, working the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, vacuums, mops and washes floors and stairs;
• Uses heavy mechanical equipment in stripping, waxing and polishing floors;
• Dusts chairs, tables, desks and other furniture;
• Polishes furniture and brass;
• Empties wastebaskets, collects and disposes of trash;
• Arranges chairs and tables and other equipment for special use of building;
• Moves furniture, supplies and other equipment;
• Cleans windows, walls, bath fixtures, equipment, beds and furniture;
• May load and unload trucks;
• May operate clothes washer and dryer in laundering of linens clothing, etc.;
• Performs custodial tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
