About the role
Buildings and Grounds position. Initial location at EMP. 2nd shift. 8 hours per day, 12 months per year. Anticipated start date: 11/16/26.
Pay
$20.79 per hour plus a shift differential of $0.75 per hour.
Schedule
8 hours per day, 12 months per year. 2nd shift.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Candidates must be able to perform the following tasks:
- Sweeps, vacuums, mops and washes floors and stairs
- Uses heavy mechanical equipment in stripping, waxing and polishing floors
- Dusts chairs, tables, desks and other furniture
- Polishes furniture and brass
- Empties wastebaskets, collects and disposes of trash
- Arranges chairs and tables and other equipment for special use of building
- Moves furniture, supplies and other equipment
- Cleans windows, walls, bath fixtures, equipment, beds and furniture
- May load and unload trucks
- May operate clothes washer and dryer in laundering of linens, clothing, etc.
- Performs custodial tasks as needed
