Cleaner - 2nd Shift (Districtwide with primary location CPS)

Pay

$20.79 per hour plus a shift differential of $0.75 per hour.

Schedule

2nd shift, 8 hours per day, 12 months per year. Anticipated start date: October 13 2026. Application due: September 21 2026.

Location

Initial location at CPS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, vacuums, mops and washes floors and stairs.
• Uses heavy mechanical equipment in stripping, waxing and polishing floors.
• Dusts chairs, tables, desks and other furniture.
• Polishes furniture and brass.
• Empties wastebaskets, collects and disposes of trash.
• Arranges chairs, tables and other equipment for special use of the building.
• Moves furniture, supplies and other equipment.
• Cleans windows, walls, bath fixtures, equipment, beds and furniture.
• May load and unload trucks.
• May operate clothes washer and dryer in laundering of linens, clothing, etc.
• Performs custodial tasks as needed.
