JOB SUMMARY
Classified substitutes work in various classified positions on a temporary, as-needed basis. There is no set number of hours or days guaranteed as a substitute. Substitutes must actively substitute to remain on the substitute list.
Necessary Skills And Background
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-hire, post-offer, physical examination
PAY RATES
Classified Substitute Assignment Hourly Pay Rates:
- Paraeducator, Special Programs (Special Needs): $21.34
- Paraeducator, Special Education Instruction: $20.31
- Paraeducator, Classroom Assistant: $18.40
- Student Monitor (Lunchroom/Recess): $18.40
- Campus Security/Operations: $21.87
- Office Work (depends upon the assignment): Various
