Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A CDL-equipped garbage truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's mechanical fitness.
• Safely navigate assigned routes, adhering to established schedules for garbage collection.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Interact professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and waste collected.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement.
• Minimum of [3] years of experience as a Class A CDL truck driver, preferably in waste management or a related field.
• Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to operate and maneuver a garbage truck in various weather conditions.
