Class A Driver

About the role

PACE Supply is a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, and industrial supplies. We are seeking a Class A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate large commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate driving logs
• Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to prepare and securely load orders

Requirements

• Valid California Class A Driver’s license with a "T" endorsement (doubles, triples, tankers)
• Manual Transmission Experience
• At least 21 years of age
• Clean driving record
• Medical Certification Clearance Card, FMSC Clearinghouse registration, and O.T. registration
• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience operating Class A vehicles
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience is beneficial but not mandatory
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of driving laws, regulations, adherence to speed limits, and familiarity with procedures in the event of an accident
• Able to perform long hours of driving, as well as moving and heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
