Class A CDL Depack Route Driver
Location: Louisville, KY
Schedule: Full-Time / Hourly
Start Time: 02:30am
Pay: 29.00 hourly
Benefits: PTO/Sick time from day 1, 5-day work week, OT pay after 40 hours

Responsibilities
- Loading, hauling, and delivering food waste on intra- and interstate routes with multiple stops ranging from 15-25 per day.
- Operating manual and automatic transmission vehicles as per DOT requirements and all local, state, and federal laws.
- Utilizing a pressure washer to rinse bins and containers and ensuring all client locations are clean and free of debris.
- Maintaining pre- and post-trip inspections, performing basic repairs of company bins and equipment, and managing paperwork.
- Communicating with customers and vendors to ensure seamless operations and reporting all accidents and injuries immediately to the safety manager.
- Attending and participating in weekly safety calls, trainings, or briefings and regularly communicating with the corporate office/operations team for service, equipment, and customer service-related issues.
- Working flexible hours based on seasonality, up to 60 hours in a 7-day week or 70 hours in 8 days.
- Maintaining basic truck equipment and overall cleanliness of equipment and utilizing the electronic logging system for DOT driver logs.
- Performing regular maintenance of company bins and equipment and submitting all documentation to the appropriate party.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Class A CDL License (self-certified as a Non-Excepted Interstate driver with the state of issuance).
- Clean MVR and PSP.
- At least 23 years of age and at least 2 years full-time verifiable tractor-trailer experience OR 21 years of age with 1 year of tractor-trailer experience IF a graduate from a Truck Driving School or 1 year of Military experience.
- A stable work history.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly lifting, pulling, and/or pushing up to 70 pounds, bending, stooping, twisting, shoveling, or reaching overhead.
- Able to regularly pull/roll up to 300 pounds when working with totes.
- Able to manage unpleasant odors from food waste/farms.
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
