Responsibilities
- Deliver supplies and products to company branches or customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain proper documentation and logs of goods hauled, including vehicle logs, cargo logs, and transfer logs.
- Ensure proper functionality of the company-provided delivery vehicle through regular inspection and maintenance.
- Stay current on driving regulations and required certifications.
- Report delays or transportation issues to branches or clients.
- Obey traffic laws and comply with all federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License.
- Ability to operate large vehicles.
- Ability to navigate to various locations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to drive long distances throughout the day, including early mornings.
- Possess an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a cargo vehicle driver.
- Knowledgeable of laws and regulations regarding freight shipping.
- Possess a Hazmat Endorsement or be willing to obtain one.
