Responsibilities

• Maintain proper documentation and logs of the goods being hauled.
• Ensure proper functionality of company-provided delivery vehicles through regular inspection and maintenance.
• Create and maintain various logs, including vehicle logs, cargo logs, transfer logs, etc.
• Keep current on driving regulations and required certifications to perform the job.
• Report delays or other transportation issues to respective branches or clients.
• Owe to obey traffic laws and company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License.
• Ability to operate large vehicles.
• Ability to navigate to various locations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to drive long distances throughout the day and possibly early mornings.
• Possess an acceptable driving record.
• Prior experience as a cargo vehicle driver preferred.
• Knowledgeable of laws and regulations regarding freight shipping.
• Possess a Hazmat Endorsement or be willing to obtain one.
