About the role
Driver Hire Darlington is recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for ongoing supply work across Darlington and the surrounding areas. We work with a wide range of reputable transport and logistics companies, offering flexible assignments to suit your availability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver goods safely and professionally while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- General haulage
- RDC deliveries and collections
- Trunking work
- Curtain-sided trailers
- Local and nationwide deliveries
Assignments vary depending on client requirements, providing a variety of work and opportunities to gain experience across different transport operations.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (CE) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Professional and reliable attitude
- Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences only
- Good communication skills
