Claims Representative I

About the role

The Claims Representative I (Health & Dental) role is designed for virtual full-time work, with occasional in-person training sessions. This role offers flexibility and autonomy, promoting productivity and work-life integration.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete required basic training
• Work under direct supervision
• Relies on others for instruction, guidance, and direction
• Codes and processes claims forms for payment ensuring all information is supplied before eligible payments are made
• Researches and analyzes claims issues

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Related experience or combination of education and experience

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experiences

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience using PC, database systems, and related software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)

Pay

The salary range for this specific position is $16.24 to $20.30. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Schedule

Shift: Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5pm EST

Qualifications

Requires HS diploma or equivalent and related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
