About the role
The Claims Representative I (Health & Dental) role is designed to enable associates to work virtually full-time, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This role requires passing a basic training and performing tasks under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Completes required basic training
- Works under direct supervision
- Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from co-workers, specialists, and managers
- Ensures all information is supplied before eligible payments are made
- Researches and analyzes claims issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Related experience or combination of education and experience
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience using PC, database systems, and related software

Schedule
This role is available both in person and virtually, with a minimum requirement of working at an Elevance Health location at least once per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed during the hiring process.
