Position Responsibilities
- Reconcile insurance claims and identify billing discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve claim rejections and payment issues.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Complete insurance prior authorizations in a timely manner.
- Communicate with insurance companies, providers, and internal departments to resolve claim issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy and insurance regulations.
- Aid with additional billing and reimbursement tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations is strongly preferred.
- Experience with pharmacy claims reconciliation or medical billing is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician preferred, but not required.
