Claims Coordinator
About the role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Torrent. This role will be based in Kalispell, or can be performed Remotely Nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Cooking onboarding of new litigation matters, including confirming assignment, notifying stakeholders, distributing claim documentation to defense counsel, and identifying applicable policies and coverages.
- Maintaining accurate litigation files, case tracking systems, and related documentation, ensuring records are complete, organized, and accessible.
- Processing monthly litigation invoices, including onboarding, review, filing, FEMA submission, status tracking, and coordination of payment issuance.
- Aiding in the development, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures, templates, and correspondence for litigation and claims coordination.
- Serving as a liaison among legal teams, finance, external agencies, clients, underwriters, and other parties to support efficient communication and compliance.
- Aiding in audit preparation by organizing, compiling, and submitting requested documentation and reports within required timelines.
- Reviewing claims reports, documentation, and system information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established service standards.
- Monitoring deadlines and incoming communications, prioritizing workload, following up on missing documentation, and conducting research to support claims analysis and resolution.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to independently identify, manage, and prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Prior claims experience, including experience in claims or insurance litigation.
- NFIP experience.
Skills

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $48,000 to $102,400. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
Schedule
All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
