For our client, we are seeking a Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation Team Lead | Jurisdiction: CA or NV | Licensing: required to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will oversee complex workers' compensation claims operations and help guide a team of adjusters in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. The position will focus on claim resolution, litigation coordination, workload management, and performance development while partnering with internal stakeholders to support efficient and effective service delivery. Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation requirements and leadership skills will be essential to driving team accountability and high-quality outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $115,000 annually Responsibilities Analyze and process complex general liability claims to determine exposures. Manage the litigation process for timely and cost-effective resolution. Coordinate vendor referrals for investigations and litigation management. Lead team meetings and assign accountability for follow-up tasks. Gather compliance and claims processing data for team meetings. Participate in interviewing adjusters and provide feedback to hiring management. Support team lead in reviewing adjuster workloads and suggesting adjustments as needed. Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in claims management or a relevant combination of education and experience. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification related to the line of business is a plus. Knowledge of Workers Compensation regulations in California (CA) is essential.
