- You have a strong background in processing claims and determining that a client’s benefits are correctly applied.
- You have demonstrated expertise in ensuring claims are coded accurately to support proper billing and data analysis.
- You have reviewed claims for prior authorization and member eligibility.
- You have a history of consistently providing a high-quality level of claims service to clients.
- You feel confident in your ability to run reports on accounts to assist in backlog management.
- You don’t hesitate to engage in outreach to obtain information needed to complete claims processing. You can make outbound calls to members and/or providers.
- You can provide backup support to the processing team in order to run our operations smoothly and efficiently.
You Will Stand Out If You
- Have a minimum of an associate degree or 2 years of claims experience.
- Have excelled in a call center.
- Have knowledge of/experience in the self-funded health insurance industry.
- Possess a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Are exceptional in your phone etiquette and can demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Consider yourself to be an active listener.
- Have exceptional problem-solving ability. You devote time, effort, and resources to figuring out effective solutions.
