Claims Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Work closely with outside counsel and managing cases through resolution
• Evaluating new claims, analyzing coverage across primary/umbrella/excess policies, setting reserves, and driving matters through resolution.
• Coinciding closely with insureds, defense counsel, reinsurance partners, and internal legal and management teams.
• Helping shape defense and settlement strategies, participating in mediations, and managing declaratory judgment actions when needed.
• Overseeing payments, reserves, ALAE, and billing while ensuring proper policy allocation and documentation.
• Anticipating issues, responding quickly to inquiries, maintaining compliance (licensing), and managing cases efficiently from start to finish.
