We are now seeking a skilled Municipal Infrastructure Civil Project Engineer to oversee and manage the design and implementation of municipal infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hydraulic design and analysis for water and wastewater systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD to develop and modify infrastructure project plans and designs.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful execution of municipal construction projects, closely watching all QA/QC constraints.
- Perform engineering calculations to support design and project decisions.
- Monitor project progress, quality control, and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Design and optimize water distribution and collection systems, including pump stations and treatment facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in hydraulic design, engineering calculations and civil engineering/municipal infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater systems (distribution, collection, treatment).
- Experience as a Project Engineer in municipal construction/engineering is a plus.
- Familiarity with local and state codes, maintaining compliance and infrastructure regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including schedule and budget management.
- Effective communication and reporting skills.
