About the role
The role involves practicing in one or more of the following areas: Employment Law, Business Litigation, Products Liability, Professional Liability, and Insurance Coverage. Successful candidates will have access to forward-facing client interactions and experience handling appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on legal issues related to employment, business, products liability, professional liability, and insurance coverage.
- Prepare and present legal arguments in court and before administrative agencies.
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
- Write clear and persuasive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective strategies and solutions.
- Handle client communications and manage case files efficiently.
Requirements
- Licensed attorney in Minnesota.
- At least three years of relevant litigation experience.
- Strong academic background and proven skills in research.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for civil litigation and a willingness to learn new areas of law.
Qualifications
- Proven success in trial experience, although not required.
- Experience in one or more of the specified practice areas.
- Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay
Actual compensation is tailored to each individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market. Current national base salary ranges are:
- Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000;
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000–$215,000;
- Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+.
