Civil Litigation Attorneys
Overview
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney in our Detroit office. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience, but we welcome all experience levels to apply. We have an opening for an associate attorney with experience handling either Employment, Product, Commercial, General Liability, Construction, Professional Liability, and Insurance Defense. Candidates must be driven team players with excellent litigation, writing and persuasive speaking skills, possess strong academic backgrounds, proven skills in research, and be a self-starter who is able to handle assignments with minimal supervision. Trial experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
- Handle employment, product, commercial, general liability, construction, professional liability, and insurance defense matters
- Develop and manage litigation strategies
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Prepare and present legal arguments in court
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve favorable outcomes
Requirements
- Licensed and admitted to practice in the State of Michigan
- Strong academic background
- Proven skills in research and legal writing
- Excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Qualifications
- Experience in civil litigation preferred
- Experience in multiple areas of civil litigation preferred
- Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously
