About the role
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani seeks experienced civil litigation attorneys to join their Westchester office. Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong litigation, writing, and speaking skills, possess a solid academic background, and have proven research abilities. Trial experience is preferred but not mandatory. Applicants must be licensed in New York and admitted in New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation cases independently or as part of a team
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
- Prepare and present arguments in court
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
- Participate in trial proceedings and hearings
- Prepare and deliver oral arguments
Requirements
- Licensed attorney in New York
- Admission in New Jersey preferred
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Passion for civil litigation
Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited institution
- Pass the bar exam in New York and New Jersey (if applicable)
- Proven success in legal practice
- Experience in legal writing and advocacy
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Pay
The firm offers a competitive compensation structure with base salaries ranging from approximately $100,000 to $275,000 per year, depending on experience and performance. Actual compensation is determined based on various factors including experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
