About the role

The successful candidate will work under the direction of a Project Engineer or Project Manager to generate design calculations and reports, discipline-specific construction plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates. They may also assist with on-site construction inspection activities, research and solve problems in the field, and ensure compliance with plans/specifications.

Requirements

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Software proficiency - Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge or experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Capacity to work well with others and learn new skills

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program
  • Passing grades in relevant coursework

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
