Civil Engineering Intern - Transportation (Fall 2026)

Responsibilities

• Aid engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil and structural engineering projects ranging from highways and interchanges to bridges and toll plazas.
• Assist with computer aided design and drafting tasks.
• Perform checks on drawings and calculations.
• Conduct quantity take-offs.
• Carry out simple structural calculations.
• Participate in field inspections.

Requirements

• Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs.
• Current good academic standing in accredited engineering school.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's Civil, Structural, or similar Engineering Program.
• Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
• Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay

$23.47 - $34.50 hourly.
