Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Collaborate with a team in the conceptual planning and design of civil engineering projects including water distribution, sanitary sewer collection, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and site development.

Prepare and revise engineering drawings, concept plans, and figures using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Assist with design calculations, both by hand and using modeling software such as HydroCAD, WaterCAD, etc.

Support the preparation of technical reports and applications.

Assist with construction administration responsibilities including the review of product submittals and responding to request for information.

Support site visits during the design and construction phase to review onsite conditions and construction progress.
