Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of structural engineering projects ranging from bridges to retaining walls, overhead signs, and other ancillary transportation structures.
  • Responsibilities include computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple structural calculations, and field inspection.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirements include prior exposure to CAD Design programs (AutoCAD/MicroStation).
  • Current good academic standing in an accredited engineering school.
  • Experience in OpenBridge is preferred.
  • Must be willing and able to take initiative when needed and have the flexibility to learn new skills.
  • Good communication skills: verbal, business writing, electronic communications, and presentations, MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Civil Engineering Program.

Pay

$23.47 - $34.50 Hourly Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
