Civil Helper

What You Will Do

• Aid carpenters in laying out project layouts.
• Learn to measure dimensions accurately.
• Select appropriate building materials.
• Understand blueprints or follow supervisor instructions.
• Use tools such as hammers, pry bars, chisels, saws, drills, and sanders.
• Work on ladders and scaffolding.
• Utilize measuring instruments like levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment.
• Create structures for pouring concrete.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Achieve high production rates with high-quality outputs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Basic knowledge of civil construction.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a craftsman helper.
• Willingness to travel extensively, often away from home in remote areas.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, humidity, cold).
• Participation in safety meetings and adherence to safety policies.
• Teamwork and willingness to work long shifts (up to 12 hours per day, 7 days a week).
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs, stand for up to 11 hours, and perform manual labor.
