Civil Foreman (Telecommunications)

What You Will Do

• Perform masonry tasks including building forms and pouring concrete pads for equipment placement, structural shelter foundations, tower foundations
• Clean and neatly place conduit
• Work independently, making sound decisions on behalf of the company
• Oversee, assist, and provide technical training and review for all work as assigned
• Oversee and continually refine, perform safety inspections, stay current on State and local codes and changes, stay current on best practices and products available
• Directly oversees Construction Journeyman, Construction Apprentice, & sub-contractors
• Planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems; team building and motivating
• Maintain onsite relationships with customers
• Communicate needs, problems, and questions to project management on a daily basis
• Work on-site while managing crew as a whole

What You Will Need

• 5 years of relevant experience required with Civil construction, such as but not limited to; earth moving, Equipment operation, retaining earth/water, concrete/asphalt, fencing, demolition, carpentry, roofing, and painting
• Grounding/electrical experience to include cad-welds
• Able to read construction drawings is a must
• Experience with core drills for shelter entry and drilling/setting concrete anchors
• Valid driver’s license and insurable under the company insurance policy
• Ability to communicate fluently with team members, management, and cross departments as needed
• Complete work in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding quality standards
• Able to climb and work at elevated heights (rooftops and ladders)
• Willing to travel in SE region of USA up to 5 days a week
• Able to work in physically demanding conditions, and weather conditions of all types
• Continue to have safety as a #1 priority in the field
• Read, understand, and interpret general job-related documents
• Have a construction, audit and engineering mindset when problem solving
• Detail oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
