The firm specializes in transportation engineering, water supply, wastewater management, solid waste management, land planning, site design, environmental services, facilities engineering, land surveying, and asset management.
About the role
We are currently seeking a full-time Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Water Resources (Water/Wastewater) practice in our Camp Hill, PA office. This position will work within project-focused teams and will be responsible for the analysis and design of municipal water treatment and distribution systems, municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems, and other related projects.
Responsibilities
- Civil engineering tasks
- Engineering report preparation
- Design calculations
- Cost estimates
- Fund / Grant Applications
- Production of specifications and design drawings
- Funding program and permit coordination / compliance
- Construction phase engineering
- Managing and/or providing technical assistance to advance projects within scope, budget, and schedule
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 2-8+ years of experience in municipal water treatment and distribution systems, municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) in PA is required
- Experience in the consulting engineering field is desired
- Proficient in technical writing
- Solid marketing and communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with teammates, staff, and clients
- Experience in preparing and presenting proposals
Pay
Estimated Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location, and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
