Civil/Environmental Engineer (Water/Wastewater)

About the role

Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C. is a growing multi-disciplined firm of professional engineers, architects, environmental scientists, geologists, planners, and landscape architects specializing in transportation engineering, water supply, wastewater management, solid waste management, land planning, site design, environmental services, facilities engineering, land surveying, and asset management. We are seeking a full-time Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Water Resources (Water/Wastewater) practice in our Buffalo, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering tasks related to water and sewer infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, and cost estimates.
• Assist with fund and grant applications.
• Produce specifications and design drawings.
• Coordinate and comply with funding programs and permits.
• Provide construction phase engineering support.
• Manage and/or provide technical assistance to advance projects within scope, budget, and schedule for all phases of water and wastewater projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 2-8+ years of experience in the analysis and design of municipal water treatment and distribution systems, municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) in NY.
• Experience in the consulting engineering field is desired.

Pay

Estimated pay range: $80,000 - $100,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials.
