About the role

We are currently seeking a full-time Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Water Resources (Water/Wastewater) practice in Annapolis, MD. This position works within project-focused teams on civil engineering tasks, engineering report preparation, design calculations, cost estimates, fund/grant applications, specification and design drawing production, funding program and permit coordination/compliance, and construction phase engineering.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and comply with funding programs and permits
• Provide engineering support during the construction phase

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 2-8+ years of experience in municipal water treatment and distribution systems, municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) in MD is required
• Desired experience in the consulting engineering field
• Proficiency in technical writing
• Solid marketing and communication skills
• Effective interaction with teammates, staff, and clients
• Experience in proposal preparation and presentation

Pay

Estimated Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
