Civil Engineering Technology Program Coordinator (Academic Program Director) #2652

About the Role

Trident Technical College is seeking a Civil Engineering Technology Program Coordinator to teach courses, design and develop curriculum, and foster relationships with local industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide systematically planned and delivered instruction in civil engineering technology and transfer curriculum courses.
• Design and develop curriculum and update program course syllabi.
• Evaluate student performance and advise students.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local industry partners.
• Schedule class and lab time effectively.
• Instruct day and/or evening courses.
• Teach surveying (required) and AutoCAD/Civil 3D CAD (preferred).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience.
• Ability to instruct surveying.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to function in an environment with continual changes in information technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Architecture or Construction Management.
• Two (2) years of related work experience.
• Teaching experience.
• Ability to instruct AutoCAD and Civil 3D CAD.

Pay

Starting salary of $80,000 for 12 months, commensurate with education and experience.
