Civil Engineer - Water

About the role

Join a dynamic team focused on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in delivering projects by leading significant portions of various facilities throughout the design and construction phases, as well as startup phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review technical reports, studies, detailed designs, and specifications
• Collaborate on cost estimates and prepare contract documents
• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Interface with clients and sub-consultants
• Support business development efforts
• Apply knowledge of civil engineering concepts to complex projects
• Lead and mentor less experienced engineers
• Communicate client interests and drivers to project team members
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables
• Conduct independent evaluations and selections of engineering techniques
• Review and manage assigned budgets, schedules, and quality requirements
• Oversee the collection, assimilation, and management of data for engineering work
• Serve as the responsible charge for a project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or actively pursuing registration
• Thorough understanding of water and wastewater design
• Experience leading portions of complex projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes
• Ability to lead and mentor others
