About the role
Join a dynamic team of engineers focused on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in delivering projects by leading significant portions of various facilities throughout the design and construction phases, as well as startup phases.
Responsibilities
- Design projects from conceptual and bid phase through design completion, adhering to project managers' guidelines based on client needs
- Aid in maintaining project schedules and budgets
- Manage sub-consultants under the direction of the Engineering Manager
- Interface directly with clients or sub-consultants as directed by the Engineering Manager
- Support business development efforts by writing technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentations to clients
- Apply knowledge of civil engineering concepts, practices, codes, and procedures to complex projects
- Lead and guide less experienced engineers in providing leadership and mentorship
- Communicate client interests and drivers to the project team and develop approaches to address these concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or actively pursuing registration
- Thorough understanding of water and wastewater design processes
- Experience leading portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in water and wastewater design
- Leadership and mentoring experience

Pay
$109,460.00 - $182,800.00 annually
Schedule
Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
