Responsibilities
Lead the planning and design of municipal transportation and/or utility engineering projects for public agencies, counties, and municipalities
Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery
Maintain quality control of the work products and successfully complete projects on time and within budget
Collaborate with other leaders throughout the firm on project pursuits and technical challenges
Opportunity to provide training, coaching, and mentoring for developing staff
Opportunity to develop project management skills including monitoring relevant performance indicators, budgets, and schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
- Texas PE registration, or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months of hire
- 5+ years of related engineering experience related to the delivery of municipal transportation, water/wastewater, and storm water projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D required. Proficiency in MicroStation/Open Roads Designer is a plus, but not required
- Proven client management, and project management skills is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
