Civil Engineer / Project Manager
About the role

Responsibilities
- Work with a team of professionals to assist clients on a wide variety of engineering and environmental opportunities.
- Assist with industrial by-product management, agri-business, and food security.
- Perform civil site design, wastewater treatment, environmental services, due diligence, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage and lead technical work, providing QC reviews for technical work.
- Draft and review proposals, prepare technical reports, concept designs, construction specifications, construction drawings, and permit applications.
- Coordinate with clients and sub-consultants to ensure project needs are met.
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical ability related to engineering design, permit applications, reports, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare scope and fee estimates for project work.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with attention to detail; time management skills.
- Excellent client relations skills and ability to coordinate effectively with team members.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, HELP modeling, and HydroCAD software is an asset.
- Valid driver's license.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering, geology or related field.
- Minimum of six (6) years of previous experience in an engineering consulting environment.
- Preferably two (2) years of project management experience coordinating and managing tasks and projects and interacting with clients and environmental regulatory agency contacts.
- Professional registration (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 to 12 months, preferred.
