Responsibilities
- Project Manager responsible for client relationship management.
- Site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design, using Civil 3D.
- Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
- Collaborating and managing design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
- May also conduct code research, write specifications, and other project specific tasks.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing technical guidance and delegating work effectively.
- Ensure projects meet all local, state, and federal codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with agency staff and manage the submittal and permitting process.
- Assist with site plan approvals in the area.
- Complete construction cost estimating.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering required; 5+ years or more experience directly related to the design and execution of Land Development Projects required.
- Florida PE required.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft office is required.
- Knowledge of ICPR4/Stormwise preferred.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
