Civil Engineer, PE

Immediate need for a Direct Hire Civil Engineer, PE in San Antonio, TX (onsite only).

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and supervise construction of infrastructure projects including buildings, roads, water, and sewage systems.
• Consult with project stakeholders and management on engineering requirements for design and construction.
• Use design software and drawing tools to accurately render and communicate designs.
• Assess strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, and steel through inspections and material testing.
• Plan projects using drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, survey reports, and topographical data.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor needed to determine project costs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and surveyors to ensure proper project progress.
• Monitor project progress to ensure design specifications, safety, and sanitation standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficient in CAD and related design, data recording, and analysis software.
• Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and construction methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — no visa sponsorship available.

Pay

Up to $135,000.
