CIVIL ENGINEER III
Position Information
The Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM) , Storm Water Quality Division , is recruiting for four (4) Civil Engineer III positions at Kapolei Hale.
- Assist with professional engineering projects related to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Storm Water Management Program.
- Plan, design, construction management, product evaluation, research & development, system optimization, database management, and Geographical Information System (GIS) mapping.
- May participate in periodic cross training and supplementary work activities within the division to comply with regulatory obligations.
Salaries
Salaries for positions at the Department of Facility Maintenance are commensurate with applicable experience, pending approval: $6,721 to $7,533 per month

Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Educational Requirement: Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty.
- Experience Requirement: Two year(s) of non-registered professional civil engineering experience.
Applicable Skills Needed:
Substitution
A Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a regionally-accredited college or university will substitute for one year of non-registered professional civil engineering experience.
License Requirement
Possession of an appropriate valid driver's license, as required.
