Civil Engineer III

About the role

Verdantas is seeking a Civil Engineer III to join our team in Pawtucket, RI. This role contributes to impactful civil engineering projects across various sectors, including recreational, municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and permitting efforts
• Oversee construction on a variety of site development, green infrastructure, environmental remediation, and climate resiliency projects
• Perform overall site layout, grading utility layout, drainage, erosion, and sediment control design
• Assist with stormwater calculations and modeling, project document reports, and complete quantity take-offs for cost estimates
• Prepare profiles, cross-sections, and construction details
• Absorb and prepare Contract Documents
• Manage submittals and RFIs
• Provide technical support to project managers on environmental assessment and remediation projects
• Perform field sampling, monitoring, and construction oversight
• Perform data collection and analysis
• Assist in project management for civil projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in Civil Engineering required
• PE required; preferably in any of the New England states
• AutoCAD and related Autodesk products proficiency required; certifications preferred
• Familiarity with Hydrology and Hydraulic modeling software experience preferred
• Familiarity with ArcGIS software is a plus

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license

• Strong technical skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.
