Civil Engineer (EIT)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer early in their career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in site development, land development design, and project coordination while working alongside experienced engineering professionals.

Responsibilities

• Affiliate with the preparation of civil engineering plans and construction documents.
• Perform site grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater design.
• Support project managers with technical calculations, reports, and permit applications.
• Cook with local agencies, municipalities, and utility providers.
• Utilize Civil 3D to develop and modify engineering plans.
• Conduct site visits and assist with project observations as needed.
• Collaborate with surveyors, planners, architects, and other engineering team members.
• Sustain multiple projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 1-5 years of civil engineering or land development experience preferred.
• Experience with residential, commercial, or site development projects is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
